My career as an insurance man began in 1987 with London & Manchester Assurance, before leaving to work for Pearl Assurance with whom I remained until September 2000.

I then reached the conclusion that my future lay in the independent arena where I could work more for the needs of my clients, providing them with totally impartial and independent financial advice.

Having already qualified for Financial Planning Certificates I, II & III, CeMAP (the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice), Lifetime Mortgages (more commonly known as Equity Release), Home Reversions as well as Savings and Investments, ongoing self development remains high on my agenda.

I live in Darlington with my partner Jayne, between us we have five beautiful daughters: Chloe aged 14, Megan aged 12, Amy aged 11, Millie nearly 10 and Grace aged 4.

I am very proud of my profession and would be delighted if any, (or all), of our children were to become IFA’s, looking after the financial needs of their generation.
