I am 56 years old, have been married to Linda for 38 years and we have 3 daughters and 2 grandchildren.

I live in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park area and, when not out performing with The Dalesman Singers Male Voice Choir, following Whitby Town Football Club or playing bowls or darts, I advise on general insurance working alongside my friend and former colleague from Pearl Assurance, Paul Gatenby.

I worked for 25 years for Pearl Assurance, building up many friendships, along with obtaining the Financial Planning Certificate, before taking voluntary redundancy in 2003.
