For many of us, protection against the financial consequences of dying or being unable to work comes low down our list of priorities. But, if you have responsibilities, like being married, having a family, mortgage or owning your own business, then having protection in place should be much higher up your list of priorities.

We can advise you on the different types of plan to best cover your Personal, Mortgage, and Business protection needs, via Term Assurance plans, the most common of which are:

• Level benefit – the amount of cover would remain constant throughout the term, making this suitable for known fixed term events, (for example while your family is growing).
• Increasing benefit – suitable for keeping pace with your annual income and thereby reflecting your on-going needs and requirements.
• Decreasing benefit - normally chosen this to cover a capital and interest mortgage or loan, or a capital and interest business loan. The benefit will reduce over the term you have chosen to fit in with your loan reducing as you repay part of the capital each month.
• Renewable term - Instead of choosing a specific term on some benefits you can choose to renew your cover on a five-year or 10- year basis. At the end of the five or 10 years, you will be able to renew your cover for a further five or 10 years without the need to provide medical evidence.
Any of these options can then be arranged, via plans that offer the choice of either:
• Guaranteed rates – these will not alter during the term of your selected plan or,
• Reviewable rates which will be reviewed at certain intervals during your plan’s life.
